Compassionate support to help you rest again without pressure, medication, or forcing sleep
If you’re lying awake with a pounding heart, racing thoughts, or fear that you’ll never sleep again, you’re not alone.
In this heartfelt conversation with Dr. Daniel Erichsen, I share what insomnia truly felt like for me, how my relationship with sleep changed, and how I now support others in finding more peace at night.

Sleep does not return through willpower or pressure.
It returns when fear softens, when the body feels safe, and when you are no longer trying to control or force rest.
Many people who struggle with insomnia are doing everything they can to sleep. They try harder, think more, and worry deeply about getting enough rest. Over time, this effort can leave the nervous system feeling alert and guarded at night, even when the body is exhausted.
I work exclusively with adults experiencing insomnia or the fear of not sleeping. Many of the people I support feel stuck in cycles of sleep anxiety, nighttime panic, or a body that remains on high alert long after the day has ended. They are not broken. Their nervous systems are overwhelmed and trying to protect them.
Many of my clients are healthcare providers, teachers, parents, and people who give endlessly to others while putting themselves last. Others are navigating chronic illness such as Lyme disease or long COVID. Many live with burnout, overthinking, or the emotional weight of being highly sensitive or deeply responsible. Some are women in midlife who feel betrayed by their sleep as hormones shift and evening anxiety increases.
No matter the story, the longing is the same.
To feel safe at night.
To stop fighting sleep.
To believe that rest is possible again.

My approach blends personal lived experience, professional training, and gentle guidance to help shift the patterns that keep insomnia alive.
I understand the distress of sleepless nights, especially when exhaustion is layered with stress, fear, health concerns, or major life transitions. When sleep does not come, it is easy to feel hopeless and disconnected from who you used to be.
I have been there. And I want you to know that things can change.
I support adults worldwide through personalized sleep coaching offered via video sessions, phone calls, online chat, and ongoing support through email or text. You can book sessions at your own pace and without pressure. If you are in the middle of a sleep crisis, you may request a Priority Coaching Session and receive support within twenty four to forty eight hours when available.
My work is not about fixing you or forcing sleep. It is about understanding what keeps the insomnia cycle going and helping your nervous system feel safe again so rest can return naturally.
You are not broken.
You are not failing.
You are right on time for your own healing.

As a Certified Sleep Coach with a Master of Education in Counseling, I offer a deeply supportive and educational space to help you understand what is happening in your mind and body and why sleep has become difficult. I do not provide therapy or medical treatment.
My work draws from ACT for Insomnia, CBT I informed principles, mindfulness, and nervous system education. Most importantly, it is rooted in presence, safety, and compassion. There is no forcing sleep and no pressure to perform.
Together, we gently unwind the patterns that keep insomnia alive. This may include softening fear at night, learning new ways to relate to wakefulness, and supporting your nervous system in settling again.
